How to fix Error Code 15?

Today I played for around 20 minutes and then tried to save and a message popped up saying that it couldn't save because of Error Code 15. I have never had any problem playing/saving Sims for the past 3 years. I decided to search it up and it seems like the common fix is to run The Sims as an administrator. I did this and there is no difference. Does anyone know how to fix this?

@EVILCUPCAKE6 Error code 15 usually (but not always) indicates system corruption. Did you try the "save as" function? You could try a registry scan program like ccleaner (there is a free version). Did you create a new game and try to save to see if this affects all saves?
