I just noticed the update and that a new resource file was put up. I've actually never used this guide (I didn't understand it  someone gave me a few steps, and I set it up that way, which turned out to be correct.) so I'm not sure about something. When you say there's a new resource file, does that mean it's necessary to delete the one I have and download this one?
There has been no change to the content that is in the file, only the link to get to the file on MTS has changed. However, I did clarify it a bit better as not to confuse.
This matches the contents in the code box I posted on page 21 for manually creating the Resource.cfg file. No change.

They have changed the url (simwiki now) and the page itself as been updated. I changed the instructions in this guide so you can locate the file there. If you downloaded file from MTS before it should be the same. It's rare that I would provide an actual link to the file itself. Zach did that and the link to the file for Mac users is now dead. FYI - Any changes/updates that I make to this guide are notated at the very bottom of the first post in a change log.

Thank you so much for taking the time to create this tutorial! You have no idea how grateful I am, because I am absolutely clue-less when it comes to all of this stuff...
...and now comes the annoying onslaught of my questions. Lol. (Of course there is another problem with handling things with the Sims- what did I expect? ) Right, so... I'm not sure if anyone could help me with this, either I'm just plain stupid and don't know what I'm doing, or it's really complicated... either way, here's the situation:
I've been trying to get the Master Controller mod for the last couple of days, and have been unsuccessful- until I found this thread. Your awesome and simple tutorial brought me all the way to the point will I *think* I got the mod into the Mods/Packages file correctly. I restarted my game, excited to finally get it working. It says something, before you pick your town/family, about the mod. So at least I know I was able to make it into the game. But when I got in the game, it doesn't seem to work like it should... I just can't find anything to do with it. Maybe I did it wrong, or maybe I just can't find it in-game, but all I really want is the ability to exceed the 8-person house limit...
I'm not really sure what could mess it up, it's probably due to the fact that my files are kinda in a mess... and I have one update available in my launcher, if that matters.
If anyone could help me, it would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks in advance. :-)
If you can see the NRaas panel then is shows the mod(s) are installed.
Example: NRaas panel. Older screenshot, as I have way more mods than this now.

You should be able to click on any sim, computer, or the Town Hall and have NRaas as a selection. If you don't have the selection, then you may have other issues or installed the wrong version. You can check the compatibility thread over on his site as your game and whichever mods must be compatible. I am fully patched.

Yes thats another mod Im hoping to get aswell because Ive got so many saves and its very frustrating reloading the other saves to continue with my other sims, besides the interacting with other sims bug mod that I need to know what mod fixes it some of my sims cant interact with each other now since ive patched my base game to latest update with Generations EP, it made some glitches which isnt surprising with EA not to notice.
I hope blunote00 finds an appropriate mod to fix my glitches up.
@blunote00 can you also explain on how to uninstall mods properly like the safe way so it doesnt ruin the game besides explaining on how to set it up please?
I didn't get a chance to look last night but I will try to get to it sometime this week. When you say uninstall mods properly, what exactly do you mean? I do have general instruction on page 3 under backing up section. However, if you have Twallan mods you should have the Readme.txt file for each mod that explains exactly how to remove that particular mod. However, I am of the opinion that you should reset your town before you make any changes no matter which mods of his you have.
If one has downloaded a mod (not just Twallan's), then I would assume one has read all the instructions listed by the developer which would include uninstalling said mod. :)
