I always get twins, but I only want 1 baby!

I am playing on the Sims 3, I have: Late Night, World Adventures, Pets, Generations, University Life, Showtime, Seasons and High-End Loft Stuff. Thought I would let you know in case it was something to do with the packs...

So my sims have a girl named Tori.

shes a toddler right now.

The mother is pregnant right now and I want 1 baby (don't mind which gender).

She gave birth and had 2 girls....

I don't want twins, especially if they are both girls (not being rude it's cause I want a boy as well)

I got annoyed and exited out without saving.

Then I loaded again and did the same things as before and saved through the pregnancy so I could keep what I had done.

She gave birth again.....IT WAS TWIN GIRLS AGAIN!!!! 😡😡

How do I have just one baby (I have saved and I think she's in her second day)

(I'm on PC) 

Please help me asap, I want her to have 1 baby..

I don't mind if I have a boy and a girl. But would prefer for just 1 baby...

    I found a solution!!!

    So I played my game and ate apples.

    Then my sim gave birth to twin boys.

    I was still annoyed and then I went to edit town.

    I merged a single sim (I'm playing in Lucky Palms and I used the price family cause there is 1 sim)

    Instead of putting the sim in with my family I moved a baby out.

    Then went on the Price family and evicted them

    Then they went on my clipboard.

    I then clicked on them and pressed delete.

    The baby disappeared from my family tree and from my household.

    They had no relationships with the baby and basically never knew them.

    Because I wanted just 1 girl I saved just before the pregnancy.

    I then exited WITHOUT saving.

    Then joined the game again.Then I went to the grocery store. 

    I bought some watermelons.

    Not sure how many to buy (as I'm typing this I'm playing the game lol)

    I bought 7.

    Then I went home.

    I gave my pregnant sim the watermelons and made her eat them. All. She had to stop playing with Tori. She ate them all.

    And......... Please be a girl!!!

    She had........A GIRL!!!! AND ANOTHER GIRL!!!

    Now ima just repeat the steps.

    Hi @CJRultz,

    It's probable that during her pregnancy your sim did some things that have increased her chances of getting twin or triplets. For example, as Tori is a toddler, her mom may have been listening to kids music or watched kids TV channel... that makes her chances to have twins/triplets increase.

    Also, you may have bought for her or the father one of the reward traits that make them having twins/triplets more easily.

    About the sex of the babies... have the mother eaten watermelons?

    Unfortunatelly, you can't do anything to make that chances of twins/triplets lower, but you can try to change the sex of the baby by eating apples 😉

    I did not eat apples or watermelons for the baby (not Tori)

    I didn't listen to kids music or watch the kids network.

    Do you think I should try eating apples? If so how many?

    @CJRultz hey 

    Just keep eating apples throughout her pregnancy- doesn't have to be too many (says me who tends to have her pregnant sim eat the specific fruit whenever she is hungry). If she keeps having twins, then well I guess you're stuck with it. Sometimes it's too late to change it.
