I am having trouble installing my Sims into the future on a different computer.

My HP computer broke and I couldn't get a anything from it because there was only a black screen. Well I decided to get a different computer and this one is a Dell laptop. It has windows 10 on it and 8gb of ram space. I have all my basic Sims 3 expansion packs on it plus some towns I had bought and some custom content. I also have the Sims 4 installed on it. The attachment shows what else is going on.

  • @Sylversnow83  That .dll is part of the 2015-2019 VC++ runtimes, which Sims 3 doesn't use but the EA App does.  So try manually installing the 2022 runtimes, which have supplanted the 2015-2019 versions.  Uninstall your current versions, if you have them, and install fresh copies.  Hit Windows key-i, select Apps, scroll down to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables, click on any version from 2015 or later, and select Uninstall.  Don't touch the older versions.  You can download the newest runtimes directly from Microsoft:

You'll need both the x86 and x64 versions of the 2015-2022 runtimes, but you can skip the ARM version, which is for a different class of device.  Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.
