I can open the launcher but when i press play the screen goes black & closes

@supern0vaea  If you moved some content to the new Sims 3 folder and the launcher wouldn't open, then either something you moved is the problem, or there's another function interfering with the folder itself.  Do you have OneDrive running and set to automatically sync the contents of Documents?  Here's how to check, and prevent syncing if necessary:

Be sure to make a copy of any files in Documents that you want to keep locally, because otherwise they might get removed from your hard drive.  Or you can redownload them from OneDrive later.
