Hi,
I've had this error a lot on my windows PC, where it helps to clear the Internet Explorer cache. But since your on MAC I believe the equivalent is clearing the Safari Cache and Cookies, if you haven't tried that yet.- Open Safari.
- Go to Settings (or Preferences) > Advanced and check "Show features for web developers" (or "Show Develop menu").
- Click Develop in the top menu bar and select Empty Caches.
- Go to Privacy > Manage Website Data and remove data for ea.com and thesims3.com.
If this doesn't work, go to your Sims 3 Downloads folder and try deleting the document 'myemail.bin'. This can contain faulty credentials which cause login problems.
The same applies to the cache files in your Sims 3 folder: CompositorCache, ScriptCache, CASPartCache, simCompositorCache and socialCache. It is safe to delete these files, the game will make new (clean) ones when you start up again. It may take a little longer for textures to load upon first starting.
Please let me know if this helped. Good luck!- Lalalasa11161 day agoRising Newcomer
Hello, I did what you said twice, both of them and nope still nothing.
thanks for the help though
Lalalasa1116 Is your game crashing too, or is the login the only issue? The launcher login sometimes doesn't work, for no apparent reason, but please confirm that your password has zero special characters, accents, or anything else that doesn't appear in the Roman alphabet.
If the game is crashing, please describe the context: what world(s) you're playing in, when the crashes happen, what your sims are doing at the time, and any other details that might be relevant.
As a side note, you can take a screenshot by clicking command-shift-4 and dragging your cursor over the section of the screen you want to capture. You can either attach the file to a reply here directly from your computer, or you can AirDrop it to your phone and post from there.

Hey there Lalalasa1116
Please try resetting your password, then logging out and back into the EA app. If you're still having troubles once you've tried that, be sure to let me know.
