I cannot seem to locate an "Update Tab" on the Launcher

I am not sure why the Game Updates tab is not there. That is weird. I have never had that happen.

Yeah.  Well, if you look at the photo I posted it is not there.

Does anyone else know anything about this issue?

Is there anybody who does know something about how this game works on Steam?  What version should I have?  Can I force and update?  Is there normally a delay with Steam updates for this program?

 yes i  do not see update button in my  sims 3 game ,mine has welcome   expansions and suff,  downloads, installed content and  uploads  then  under all that is says  version with  these  numbers 1.69.43.024017 i use origin and have windows 7   

 i  hope the number at bottom is  the  right updated for  sims 3 i have a  lot of expansion pack and    the high end loft  i don,t understand why no  update tab  is there and can not find   reason  from help
