I can't hear my sims singing in the sims 3 showtime pack

Hello my Name is Jayson and I'm having a issue with my sims 3 MacBook Pro 64 bit. I recently bought the Showtime GamePack and I can't hear my sims sing at the Karaoke Bar. Or hear them perform when  they're singing. I recently already tried to delete the Cache Folder to fix the troubleshooting and it didn't work if anybody  has had this issue please help me?

    @waves9780  This is, unfortunately, a known issue with the 64-bit version of Sims 3.  I don't have a master thread for it because only a few people have complained, but those players haven't been able to find a workaround.
