If you have lost the disc, you can download the game through Origin.
If your games are not already registered, register them first before doing anything else: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/INFO-How-to-Register-The-Sims-3/m-p/387162
Download the Origin client (you should have it installed already) : http://origin.com/download
Go to your My Games and download the game from there
