If I uninstall a Sims 3 expansion pack, can I then reinstall later?

Hi, I am trying to make my Sims 3 run a bit better, so as I have 9 expansions packs + the base game I am going to try uninstalling a few ex.packs and seeing if that makes it faster. They were all downlaoded through Origin, so my question is, if I uninstall them, when I eventually get a faster laptop, can I then reinstall them on that?

Also when I reinstall will I need the serial codes again?

    if the games are in your origin my games tab the code will be there for future use IF you get asked for the code  you find the code by right click the game icon view game details click on that and a window should pop open with the code on it
