If my sims move out of a house I built, can they move back in?
Ok so basically i spent hours and hours building a house for my current family, and i want it to be available to use with other households in other games. I've been researching and so far the only way i've found to save the house without the household is to evict the sims without saving, save the house, then close and go back into the game.
However i'm scared that i will do something wrong and end up loosing my whole household. what I was going to try instead was moving the sims to an empty lot, saving the house, then moving them back in. can I move them back in to a house that I built after moving out?
If not, are there any other ways I could save the house? Sorry if this question is long / confusing ahah, thanks!
OH, guess I got it the other way round. Dah me.
Well then do the following:
- Make a copy of your savegame (aka save it under a new name).
- Close your game (completely not just main menu)
- Restart the game and start the copy
- Evict your family and save the house to the bin
- Close the game (completely not just main menu)
- Restart the game and start your original
- Continue playing.
