I am using windows 7. the url that appears is http://launcherapi.thesims3.com/launcher/home.html?launcherLocale=en_US&launcherCountry=IN and the error says unable to get property 'length'of unidentified or null reference.
If i click on yes or no it just goes and game does work normally. Can this error cause issues in downloadig content from the store by any chance?
Shouldn't. ScriptErrors are just annoying and prevent the welcome page on the launcher to work correclty.
Whatever EA did, I no longer receive script errors when loading the game through the launcher. But now while playing the Sims 3 game, whenever I go to buy mode, I start receiving numerous advertisements in the upper right-hand corner, which I never did before. Quite annoying. We just can't seem to get away from commercials. If you know of a way to stop these ads from coming through, please let me know. Someone has helped me stop the ads being sent to my computer and placed in the Featured Items folder. Now my Featured Items folder is blank. I'm wondering if the reason I am receiving ads now when I play the game is because I have blocked the ads from being downloaded to my computer. Any help you can provide is most appreciated.
