Installing from CD requires Origin, any way to install without?

Maybe not the best place to ask, but I don't know where else to go. Recently got The Sims 3 Starter Pack CDs secondhand, but the base game installer requires Origin; I let it install but when I try to sign in it tells me I need to be connected to the Internet, even though I am. I don't expect there to be a fix for that part, since Origin doesn't really exist anymore as far as I know, but is there any way I could 'patch' that part of the install out so I could play the game without Origin?

    6zenxp5ytjjr  There's no way to get around the Origin/EA App tie-in if your disc requires it.  Older base game discs, those manufactured prior to September 2012, don't require Origin, but newer ones do, and you'd also need to launch the game through Origin, now the EA App.

    If you can register the product code(s) with EA, you can download your content through the EA App and not use the discs at all.  Aside from that, you're unfortunately out of luck.
