@roberta591 every time i try and load the game it just keeps telling me theres an update and then i click yes to update and it spends ages doing something and then says an error occurred. if i download origin will it fix this?

add: not quite sure how the mac works but did you create an account on Origin and then redeem code?
@roberta591 i was able to redeem the expansion pack on origin but i couldnt redeem the sims 3 game as it said my code had already been used
@emilyg96 You will have to contact EA customer service as all games and packs have to be in the same account. EA customer service can merge the accounts. Do you know the account your base game is in? Once a code is used it is locked to the account that is in use at that time. If you don't know the account the base game is in EA customer service should be able to locate it. Accounts can not be accessed here in the forums - you have to contact EA customer service.
