Invalid Serial Number to The Sims 3 Monte Vista

The 16-number serial code is invalid. It won't work when I try to redeem the code via Origin OR the Sims 3 website. Also the CD won't work either. It does not ask to put the serial number or anything. I am very frustrated by this. It seems like it is something wrong with the serial code and the CD... Please help!

    Hi,

    I just talked to the EA Customer Support last night. Even though I had to wait 30 minutes, they gave me a new working serial number.

    I do get the message "this code is in use" . I do I contact CE for a new code?

    I've just gotten Monte vista and I've been looking fo r the code and I cannot find it anywhere and I've tried asking for help but no one can help me
    Where is the 16 digit code
