Is there a way to add higher resolutions for Mac?
Basically what the title says. I don't love how it shrinks my resolution down and would like for it to atleast go under my hinge. Is there any way?

z0z55 Find the Sims 3.app, wherever you've installed the game. (It's the one with the green plumbob icon.) Right-click it and select Get Info, then check the box next to "scale to fit below built-in camera." You would of course do this with the game closed.
An alternative option is to choose the largest size in windowed mode and move the window around until you get the orientation you want, that is if the window is large enough. I'm not sure you can resize the window by dragging the corner (I know it works with Sims 4, but I don't remember about Sims 3), but that's also a possible workaround.
