Crinrict - No - in my case it is not a loading issue, but when I am playing. Like my last freeze I had only been in the game a short while - I decided to try a brand new start - I did not start up with the launcher though went in with my TS3w.exe shortcut - so it loaded somewhat normal - I had no problem going to CAS and making a new family - dad, mom, and a toddler using their genetics - got it save to the library, and picked a house in the world - the house has a lot of store content - but no CC - the freeze came suddenly - all I did was tell the dad to take the toddler to the nursery, about the same time the mom had the thought bubble for the small swimming pool and was headed out back, the Uni mascot had arrived and I got the pop up about the Uni kit and there it instantly froze I waited and left it there - even went and took a shower hoping it would be back up by the time I got back - no such luck. It was then 20 minutes since it had froze and there was no getting out of it. I brought the task manager up and checked - it said the sims3 was still running - so it never crashed. Every thing was frozen but the plumbobs kept spinning and looking normal. Nothing else though was running. Not time, not plants, not anything.
Also as this is an empty world with no sims, and a brand new start and it was early in the morning. The clock time at freeze was about 9:27 or so on a Sunday Morning - nothing yet had enough time to start freezing problems as nothing would be spawning yet - the sims had no jobs and no skills - nothing. I did as I normally do in a test world and choose freerealestate to move my sims in to start testing the world. Now when I try and start that world it goes immediately to the entry page of course as nothing had been saved yet (but the family to my library) - like I said this is a brand new game.
