Island Paradise CAS
Aren't mermaids supposed to be a new available life state in CAS? They don't appear as an option in my game.

No I believe the only way you can make/become a mermaid is to become good friends with a mermiad and asking them for Mermadic Kelp, get enough life time points to get the kelp, buying the kelp somewhere or having a child with a Mermiad though your chances are 50/50 unless both adult are mermiads. I know you can edit mermaids in CAS but you can't start off as a mermaid. I don't know why.
