Issue with Sims 3 Game Registration and CD Key from Steam to thesims3.com
I purchased the Sims 3 game on Steam approximately a week ago. While the game runs smoothly, I encountered an issue when attempting to register it on thesims3.com in order to access additional content such as Riverview or Create a World.
Upon trying to enter the CD key provided by Steam in my account -> register a game, I received an error message stating that the key is invalid.
Interestingly, within the EA App, I can successfully launch the game and view the Steam CD key without any problems. It even says the base game is owned. However, when I navigate to the "Manage" section, it prompts me to purchase the game again.
This situation has been quite frustrating for me. If the game is already launching successfully, I'm perplexed as to why I'm being prompted to repurchase it within the EA App.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to resolve this issue and successfully register my Sims 3 game to access the additional content.
