issues with my game starting up

I just recently bought Seasons, World Adventures and Town Life Stuff pack via online download. When I was installing Seasons, I had a pop up message that went something along the lines of "Your Sims 3 is not compatible make sure to have all updates" or something like that. It finished installing. When I went to install World Adventures, it said, "Your Sims 3 is more updated than thought, it might not be compatible" something like that.  Installing town life was pretty much the same deal. I was able to finish installing all three of them. After wards, I made sure to do all the latest updates for my version of The Sims 3 just in case. Now when I go to press play from the game launcher, the window for the game pops up, and then disappears. please help! i'm not even sure what the problem is as when I was installing the games, first they tell me my sims 3 isn't up to date, and then it said it was. Thank you!
