Issue Summary: My shared buildings appear in My Studio, but not in the Exchange
Issue Details: also when uploading a simple file, it is being showed to be 4 GB in stead of 4 MB

Do you mean Community lots?
Are you using CC? Could it be corrupt an attaching itself to your uploads resulting in the giant file sizes?
Yes, I mean community lots. I used to have cc content but i removed it and reinstalled the game. The problem still remains. I noticed the community lots are messed up. Certain lots keep reappearing. One lot that I created a couple of weeks ago showed up under the name of a different creator today. This has happened before. I wonder if my problem is related to my computer. There might as well be a problem with the community website functionality.
Maybe the other person re-uploaded your lot?
The exchange seems to be broken as it's not accepting any new items. I've tried to report it but I'm at a loss.

I am having that same issue I've uploaded several items today and it shows up under someone else's name and then the item I upload isn't showing up in the exchange like it normally would thanks for your answer.

That's a shame. I can't see any uploads since the 12th which is strange. I'll ask around 🙂
I guess they want us to play sims 4 trying to stop us from playing sims 3
I have reported the "broken" Exchange twice now. There has been nothing new on the Exchange since the 12th - I have been told that the "Developer" has "disabled" some of the Exchange features to do maintenance ... Ummm what exactly does that mean? Why no maintenance notification??

I noticed this problem has been fixed. I haven't been playing The Sims 3 for a couple of weeks so I don't know exactly when the problem has been fixed. This topic can be closed now, but I can't seem to find the option to close this topic.
The exchange is fixed.
Not sure about friend request though. Do they work for you too ?
