It says "no disc" & requests me to insert expansions for base game?

Hi, I'm new and clueless. I received the Sims 3 and 4 expansion packs for my birthday. I installed Sims, then the expansions. At some point, Origins installed at the end when I did the Worlds Bundle, and Windows 11 gave me some concerning security warnings. I tried to bypass what I could. It said Monte Vista installed so I went to the Hidden Springs disc, my last disc. This is when errors began.

First when I inserted the Hidden Springs disc, it said I already installed it. I... was confident I did not since I had the SN ready to go. Weird but okay.

Second, I took the disc out and put in the base game to start. I says I'm up to date. I went to launch the game and it asks me to insert "The Sims 3 Late Night disc". Uh... I'm trying to launch the base game by double clicking on the icon. But okay, I remove Sims 3 and put in Sims 3 Late Night disc. When I hit play, the launch window disappears and then nothing happens. I have no way to update any farther.

:( I don't know what else to do. Please help.

    [Current Issue] Sims 3 Store world can't register/install | EA Forums - 11143823

For the game itself, please run the Super Patch to manually patch the game to 1.67, if you haven't already.  The launcher doesn't do a good job of patching on its own but often reports that the game is fully updated.  You can get the Super Patch here (direct download link):

    http://akamai.cdn.ea.com/eadownloads/u/f/sims/sims3/patches/TS3_1.67.2.0240xx_update.exe

Your browser might flag it because the address starts with http and not https, but you can see from the URL that it points to an EA server, so it's safe.

Once you've patched, try again to run the game with the Late Night disc.  If it doesn't work, provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
