Lack of 'Update' button

I am unsure if this should go in a new thread because i cant find any discussions on it, However i don't have an update button.
I play through Origin and have only just noticed its absence today while i was looking to install CC. I Have been experiencing issues while in game, in the form of regular freezing and was wondering if they could be connected? would an update fix the memory leak?
According to the wiki i have the latest update and the only examples of people having the same issue is when they play through steam.

Here is a screenshot of my launcher.
Thanks x

@MrsCadara_001 To make sure that the game is up to date, right click the Sims 3 game tile in Origin client and select 'Check for Updates'. I would also recommend running a repair on the game to see if that fixes the issues you are having (right click the Sims 3 tile in Origin again and select 'Repair Game').

Let us know how you get on!

  • Thank you for the advice, It says my game is up to date already so im running a repair now. will let you know how it goes when i test it out properly 🙂

  • With 1.69 you now update through Origin, so that's why you no longer have the button.

    All good.

For the freezing, what world are you playing ?

What reaches 5 GB ? The RAM usage ? The save game ? Your saves folder ?

Were you able to update your drivers ?

I assume that is your total RAM usage.

How much does ts3.exe use ?
