Hi: as for style of gameplay, I had - before everything went south - eight families that I switched back and forth between all the time. Never a problem until LateNight or the fatal update prior to it.

I play with Story Progression off, aging off. Free will set to High. The graphics options were automatically set to High for everything when I installed the game but I have turned some down to medium, like the trees and draw-distance, etc. Edge scrolling is on.
