I hope too that they fix the issues that make your sim kids go wrong, Andree. If you have a lot of time to play then it would be good if you at least had all the game's options available.
I try to avoid making sims like myself for fear of seeing weird things happen to them! Fortunately I'm not good enough in CAS to make one that resembles me precisely, and I'm not sure I can narrow myself down to just 5 traits. The one time I made a sim vaguely like me she ended up in the military career, which really would be strange for me, and had a really horrible house. I made my active sim take the architect career and sent him round to upgrade her bathroom!
