I updated with the newest patch and my game works now but I have a wierd graphic glitch for the new curved pools....it makes a pool but leaves the floor texture in place. For the fountains and sometimes the curved pools it tells me I need to place a basement first??? Also the new platforms build fine but their tops appear 2 squares over from where they are placed. Can't get late night for a while yet but seemed a reasonable place to post.

I hate to have to tell you this but I had the same problem.. What i did was erase all saved games and boom everything now works like normal.. Save that my ******* disappears and when i have a party noone stays..
