Hi, I have reported 2 other bugs on two links, regarding elevators and my sim takes forever to do anything.
(Pretty new Macbook, no mods, few CC and a lot of store content)
@Heckstress17: There are different freezing issues. I might need to start a thread on that. Not sure yet. It is an old issue which can sometimes be narrowed down to stuck sims and cars.
Even though my sim is really slow, i want cal it she freeze. She just stands in front of the shower, elevator, counter or whatever for a really long time. But times go and all the graphic works, even her. Her eyes and body moves, just not her feet :)
If shes alone it the elevator it moves fast, first she gets in and the doors lock. But at a club with more people it can take an (sim) hour to close the doors.
Sorry, i know this place is not for elevator issues, just wanted to help out about the different freezing issues.
What i really want to report here is about parties and going out in a group:
(Game tip: Even though my sim have no time to practice her skills (do to her being slow at covering basic needs), she's quite popular among the celebs, her stars raises quick, -as a 0 star she made friends with a 5 star pop idol, but i cheated her to some money and that impress them easily.)
She trow a party at Bonzai, but hardly anyone came, only 2 showed up, no close friends. They where late as herself, and they didnt really interact. The place was empty (didnt ask for exclusive party), except for staff. (This is also a general problem in my game, even hot spots) - Im not sure if its a bug or not, but her being pretty popular it seemed odd?
And everyone felt good about attending, she even got lifetime point for trowing a great party!!? - If thats a great party i dont wanna see a bad party! :)
Then she invited her 3 best celeb friends to go out, they would all meet her at the club. They all arrived really quick (I was looking outside the club since i was afraid she would be late) It took her a loooong time to get there, so i tried to cheat and teleport her there, but i could not really get her there (maybe because she was in the subway?)
When she finally arrived i could not see all her friends, but clicked on the front door and "go to the club with you group" (or similar) But the interaction didnt work. A friend (from the group) kept popping up and wanted to chat to her. I tried to get them inside over and over again, same friend kept wanting to chat. The lobby was only a floor, no elevator or people if i looked inside.
It said it was a hot spot. And finally the lobby worked, but now it was around 1 am. (called them around 8 pm) More people came and all went in the elevator, took a long time for them to get up. Finally on the club floor some girl wanted my sims autograph, but to of her friends from the group disappeared after the elevator trip up. Then a few people incl my sim and the one from her group that was still around kind of got stuck in the room between the elevator and the doors to the club.
So they never made it inside the club, and looking around it was empty (again with staff). Club close and they all had to get the elevator down. Her entire group was back then, but didnt seem to be in the group with more than the one that stayed around her... Outside at the street my sim got in a fight with the one friend still in the group, even though shes been telling her over and over again how much fun it was to hang out with her...? (Ok they are big stars and thats properly not a bug, but it was such a strange outing i dont know what is suppose to happen anymore)
It seem to be really difficult to get the game going when it all takes so long time, and the problems all seem to be about the night life, witch makes it hard to really enjoy Late Night, that otherwise seem like a great game.
Sorry for the long novel, i just wanted to write as much info in case it helps adjusting these problems.
Finally I just want to ad a wish for Late Night :) - It would be SO much more fun to play LN if you where able to play in more apartments at with different households in the same building!
And if it was not a shell!
I love to build. Even though it is kind of fun to have limited space to decorate, but only for a while. I already miss being able to change the size of the apartments and build balconies for hot tubs etc. - I even used "moveobject" to try to get more space but "the apartment ...something" still want let me move wall or anything. I only manege to change the windows.... It does make it a little bit boring..... - Sorry. Beside that i do really like the idea of LN, just with no bugs :)
