launcher says i dont have expansion packs

So I got  new laptop a week ago. and for past 6 days I have been installing the sims 3 and the sims 4. When I open the sims 4, it worked fine. no issues. the sims 3 tells me i have no expansion packs installed when all of them are. I reset my laptop about 5 times. i opened the launcher about 10 times. maybe more. I had no issues installing all of my store content , expect for two of the items because it says I am missing an expansion pack when I'm not. I have no idea what to do. Any advice?
