Lost property and businesses after getting married and moving out to new home

If you can, go back to a prior save before marriage and have her move in with you and than you move to another house together. When you switch active household which is what you did ,you loose your owned businesses  Now that you have a new active household (hers) you now get the opportuninty to buy all over again. I take it you moved this male sim out but there were others in his household so that household keeps the money not your male sim however that household does not own  the businesses anymore. you can use cheat motherlode to get more money.
