Mac - Disc Authentication Failure

I have a brand new disk for Mac Supernatural.  I bought it yesterday at the Game Stop.  I installed it with no trouble.  I have previously installed and played World Adventures, Ambitions, and Generations.  This time, I cannot do anything to be able to play the game. 

The Launcher appears, but when I click on the arrow image to open the game, this message appears:

"Disc authentication failure.  No game disc found!  Please insert the Sims3 Supernatural game disc before proceeding."

But the disc is there.  I have restarted my MacBook.  I checked and my OS is the right version.  I do not know what to do.  Please advise. Thank you.

    I have the same issue...except it's asking me for the regular Sims3 game disc. Uh, what? Oh, and the little bar at the bottom of the launcher that shows what expansion packs you have doesn't show Supernatural, even though everything else points to it being properly installed. 😕mileysad:
