Another poster recommended I post here:
Part 1
So I've recently gotten most of the expansion packs and base game for my iMac, I got everything straight through Origin (Which I'm regretting now), in thoughts everything would be streamlined and more efficient... Sadly, not the case. First install was great, though only the base game installed without a problem, doing the starter pack first I installed Base game (Went fine) > HELStuff (Had to run the installer twice due to hangs at the end, only after the second install even after a hang Origin showed it ready to play) > Late Night (Same thing, installer just hangs at the end). Then finally got University (Which installed fine). Booting the game seemed to run smoothly, no errors but also only the University expansion. Contacting EA support I went!
... Only to be told to patch it and see what happens. I downloaded the super patch they recommended, installed it, same story it just hung the first time, reloaded it a second time and everything went fine. Loaded up, got it to start, still only base game and University installed... So I figured I'd do a clean reinstall, I walked through that guide though after using the uninstaller, I had none of the transgaming, cider or saved app folders or anything there.
So, going to reinstall the base game I ALWAYS get to 842 of 889 when installing, and it just never moves from there. Even after leaving it for hours. So try this twice. Same thing each time. Finally did a restart of the Mac, ran it again... Same thing. It's not frozen, it seems to be using my processes still, but just isn't accomplishing anything. I did notice after the install Origin wanted to do something with installing an Agent or something. I should also note the game I'm installing now is a new CD key due to me not being able to register for TS3, I haven't tried the original key yet as I was worried my online sims 3 account wouldn't link it or something.
Any ideas would be great at this point, as I'm at a loss as to what to do. Thanks in advanced!
Part 2
So I reinstalled Origin, and got everything to install. Late Night still crashed at the end of setup, the problem here is after getting everything installed and running the megapatch, Late Night doesn't appear and I can't find a .app for it. Origin seems to give me no options for reinstalling it either because it thinks it's installed. : /
The log the updater has when trying to launch Late Night directly. I know updates are suppose to be linked to the base game, but clearly my Late NIght doesn't know that.

Even with the clean uninstall again, none of the Transgaming or Cider stuff exists, not even for the expansions which are working properly.
Where I'm at: Aside from fustrated, due to lack of space I removed bootcamp and have been using Crossover for most games, though I figured hey EA made this for Mac Right? ... I guess not, seems just like emulated code.. But still. The game launches, everything loads proper except the game doesn't detect Late Night, nor does the core Late Night.App exist, though I can't seem any way to uninstall just late night, Origin won't allow it (Or I've found no way to in origin, that is).
Any help at this point would be appreciated.
