[MAC] OS X Yosemite and Sims 3 Installer

I tried to download from Origin but it gives me the same error " The Sims 3 Installer Quit Unexpectedly."

Do I have to pay again to download it from Origin? Pretty upsetting that I cannot even install something I paid money for when torrents are so accessible. 😕mileyfrustrated:

I downloaded the base game using Origin and the 'Installer quit unexpectedly' window popped up again. However, after a few seconds, the game window does come up and I was able to play it without problem. There were tons of error windows when I exited though. Hopefully this method will work when I install the EPs as well. Thanks for the help!
