[MAC] SIms 3 Launcher Error 404

Is the error completely covering the launcher (i.e. where you can log in and see items from exchange, etc.) or when you try to patch the game?

Try clearing your cookies. I don't know what browser you have so I can't tell you how. If you don't know how to just tell me what browser you're using and I'll give you instructions. 

ive got mac and im trying to update my sims 3 launcher to install university. Everytime i try to update it, it gets me a page that says ERROR 404 and i need to play university. It opens an internet page and says ERROR 404. Please HELP

What is your current patch level? The latest patch is 1.67.

Many simmers find that patching their game via the "Game Updates" tab of the Launcher does not work properly. It is then better to download and apply the manual superpatch. It is important to download the Mac version rather than the PC version, and to pick the right one for your region.
