I think this is ridiculous. I'm getting to the point now that I just want a refund. I bought this game a week ago and still haven't been able to play it. I understand that they're "working" on the issue, but I don't like paying cold hard cash for something that doesn't work.

I agree ! I bought it yesterday so it's still not that bad but I do know that some people bought it the day it came out or soon after, I don't understand why this problem hasn't been solved yet. It means that some people bought a game maybe two weeks ago and still won't be able to play with it! EA, Origin or The Sims 3 should have solved this issue by now! Besides, it's what they are suppose to do. I sent an e-mail to EA and I am currently waiting for an answer, beside this isn't the only issue I had with my games. I used to enjoy buying these games and playing but right now it's more complicated and I'm getting really tired of all theses issues, I won't purchase any games again if this isn't solved soon. !
