Moving Your Sim to a New City

Does it start loading or do you have the grey tick issue ?

Try resetting all your Sims in your town with resetsim *

To do so

• Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
• Type resetsim * (including the *)

This should put all your sims and animals to a safe location.

You might have a stuck Sim somewhere

It doesn't load at all. I make the town, move my sim in, then choose the household she's in and hit the check mark. It stops there and nothing more,

So the check/tick just stays grey ?

Are you playing logged in ? If so, could you try if it works if you don't login ?

When I try without logging in It accepts th click but gets stuck loading and I lose all options stuff. As in I can't even access my escape menu and what not.

That didn't fix being unable to port my sim.

Does start a new game with new sims work ?

It does create a sim and join the town as normal (I just spent about an hour making a sim to test this.). I just tried. I just can't port a sim.

Any sim or that specific one ?

Any sim. I did a quick test after going to factory settings on one not my created Sim.
