My Expansions wont Install and now my base game wont start

Question

Please help! I recently bought Late Night and Supernatural expansion on Orgin. I downloaded both but neither will install. Both say that I need to update my game launcher, but its already updated!

And to top it all off, it wont even let me play The Sims3 anymore. It says game is unable to start. I'm so frustrated with it already, and I need to know if I can fix it or if not so I can at least know to get a refund with them.

What is your base game version right now ?To find out, open your launcher and hover over the little base game icon in the lower left part of the launcher.
