My game constantly crashes within minutes of playing.

no pets its the latest i have, I got that ages ago and this problem is recent, so surely it must be something else, what can I do?

Did you patch the game ? That added stuff.

With new game I meant, start a new savegame instead of using an existing one.

    Patch? as in download custom content? ya but i deleted it, no I havent Ill try now
