My game doesn’t exist on my computer!!

Okay so i usually know what to do when it comes to my game running on my macbook, but this has me a bit confused. I recently had to delete and replace my Symlink for my hard drive, this is where i had my sims 3 and 4 installed. I also had to rename my hard drive and i  believe somewhere in the process the sims 3 was installed under the old corrupted drive name. Since then ive been trying to uninstall the game. I am convinced that it’s stuck on that old volume location and i cant uninstall it to put it on the new formatted one. I can see my electronic arts folder on my drive but i believe the packs are being downloaded to my MACSSD but the application can’t be located…Is there anything i can do to get it deleted?

If this doesn't help, or you don't see anything on the drive, please let me know whether there's anything on the drive that you want to preserve and that you couldn't temporarily move to the computer.  The point is that it might be best to format the drive, but doing so would erase everything on it.
