Hi. I had the same problem and it worked out fine for me.
If you click the "Install Packs" button, it will only take you to your origin launcher to buy the packs; it's as if you never got them in the first place.
But overall, it should be fine.
if i already have the game how can i install them again without having to buy them on orgin?

Hi @johnnieg03,
Did you register your games in thesims3.com or Origin? If not, that would be the first step. Register all your games in the same EA account (you need the base game in the account to be able to play the packs). Open the Origin client (you can download it from here if you don't have it installed in your computer) and use the menu Origin > Redeem Product code.
Once you have your codes registered, your games will be in that account. Just click on them to start the download and installation. You can download and install them as many times as you need 😉

Some of my sim 3 Expansion pack I bought and install aren't showing up in game anymore after a month I stop playing it. I reset all of the game but still not working and I even try to redeem the code of some of the game not showing but it said that the code already use. and in extra content it say I have to bought the game again. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME.
- 9 years agoHaving an issue with redeeming on Origin - tells me to register expansions and stuff packs on Sims3.com - but sims 3 website won't let me log in to my account. Tried to change my password, but it takes me back to EA? Have installed all packs onto my pc, but only Dragon Valley is coming up in my game? I've been playing sims 4 for so long, I've forgotten how to fix issues like this lol. Is there any other way to register my disks or at least get them to work? 🤔

I am having the same problem since yesterday's Origin update. Before that my expansion and stuff packs were all working perfectly, now even though all packs are checked and installed none of them are showing up when I try to play my saved game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything today and still the same problem. This has obviously been caused by Origin. I have tried using the link to the help chat but that is also useless. Because although I can connect to an EA games helper, I cannot actually type anything in the chat box. This is seriously annoying. I've spent hours today just trying to sort out a problem caused by Origin on a game that was working perfectly happily before their update. Absolutely appalling !!!!!

Hi! I tried every solution to my problem the internet or an EA adviser could give me (resetting my router, deleting and reinstalling the packs, deleting my mods, uninstalling and reinstalling origin,) but nothing will work. This has never happened in the 2 years I have played TS3, and only happened after I bought Showtime (from origin) Before that, I had everything but Showtime and Ambitions, and the stuff packs. (I had High End Loft Stuff and it wont let me re-download, but I don't really care too much for that one.) They all show up In origin as 'installed' but are not in the 'expansions and stuff' tab in TS3 launcher. Please help!

Hi, I've been having the same problem since August. I got a new computer around the time origin updated and for about one day everything worked perfectly. Then it updated and none of my packs worked(I have all of the expansion packs and one stuff pack.) I have tried everything on this threads as well as other threads and I have even contacted EA. I now know that this is a problem that a lot of people have gone through (most likely because of an update of origin) and that EA doesn't listen to their customers. We pay you for your games and the least you can do is help us fix them. I've had this problem for 4 months and no one has helped me fix this. This is an outrage and I think that you should give us our money back if you aren't going to fix the problem.
