I had the same issue as you! I went to the filters bit and there was a place for hidden games and my game was there!
Yea i found it too i think it's very Evil of them to try and trick people into thinking they need a Mac for the game now. Lucky i had the sense to do some Research and found this thread or else i would of Bought a Mac.

@jennyeromano I don't think anyone's trying to trick people. There was an issue with the application of the 64-bit version to players' accounts, and some details were missed along the way.
And I'd be surprised if anyone went out and bought a Mac just because they didn't see the Windows version of the game in their Origin libraries, even if it were the case that Sims 3 only ran in macOS. After all, very few Mac users bought Windows PCs to play Sims 3 when it didn't run at all in macOS Catalina for over a year. And Windows PCs are much cheaper than Macs.

I still feel i was personally almost tricked when they involuntarily hid my sims 3 game without me noticing and then replaced it with that version without any notice. I'm personally clueless so if i had not checked google i would of bought a mac for the sims 3.
- 5 years ago@jennyeromano I wouldn't rush to link gltiches/mistakes to evil intentions. There has to be a motive in order for evil plans to make logical sense. What possible benefit would there be in EA's favor if they were ever to on purpose trick players into buying Macs? It's not like EA sells or makes a profit from them.
