new EA app uninstalled Origin
Last night I played and saved The Sims 3 with NO problem. I have Ambitions ,Late Night , Showtime , and Seasons extension packs also. After I closed Origin, prompted me to download the new EA app...

The EA App is designed to uninstall Origin, so if you want it on your computer for testing purposes, install it first, then Origin afterwards.
Thanks,so much. I will try that. I just spoke with a representative from technical support. He said this is a high priority problem many are having. I also mentioned none of my game or expansion packs are anywhere on the EA app. I'm 68 years old and been playing the Sims for years. I'm so sorry I took the plunge and did the new EA app. Now he says until its fixed I'm stuck and outta luck😥
EA have told me three times in the past month that they're fixing this. Yet half my EPs are still missing or not showing in the launcher and I'm getting beyond frustrated now. At this point I don't think they are telling the truth. They clearly don't know what to do or how to fix it.
@ArronHawken Which packs are missing, and do they show up as owned in your Origin/EA App game library? There's a difference between the packs not showing as owned or not downloading and packs that install properly but don't show up in the launcher.
I did everything you said to do in my earlier post about the EA app uninstalling Orgin. Last night I took my time and redid step by step. Was so happy when the EA app worked, and all my Extensions and everything was there. Thanks so much and I hope to have no more issues
