Anyway, I was stupid and forgot to delete my cache files, so now I'm going to really load the game and see what happens. Deleting my other test save because I don't want to bother with sending her back home, loading the homeworld, sending her back, and loading University again!

IT WORKED.

Had to take out the store fixes and my other mods, but by god it works.
Luckily, my store items are still there, which is good. i'm seriously about to cry i'm so happy.

Hoping someone with a fast computer will be willing to test out the Twillian mods and see which ones do and don't work. Getting my computer to load THIS much took around 15 minutes.

You know, after seeing your pics, I'm almost 100% sure it's the storeFixes. The food lists in Seasons looked the same and that was definitely the StoreFix. I think you can put Twallan's mods back except the 4 he lists in State of my mods.

I have the no class schedule issue, and problems with the progress bar as well.
I have a bunch of Twallan mods (not the 4 problem ones he noted). I also have a bunch of MTS mods.
I removed the store fixes and deleted the cache.
I started on a brand new game file.
No dice. Problem not solved.
Next I'll take out all my MTS mods and keep the store fixes out to see if that works.

EDIT: I have a class schedule! I took out all of the MTS mods and store fixes. I noticed that after clicking "No" to Content Updates, it created a folder with a don't remind me until next update file. This time, I clicked "later" when the notification popped up in the launcher - and the content fixes folder stayed empty. I'm not sure if this made a difference this time or my MTS mods were the problem.
I do want to re-iterate that I have a ton of Twallan mods still installed (NOT the 4 problem ones).

The store fixes I had were in the Mods folder under the packages sub-folder.

Documents/ElectronicArts/TheSims3 There's a folder Titled "Content Patch". That's what I assumed it was. I removed that folder.

all eps. only master suite, katy perry sweet treats and diesel sps

3. Did you have any exchange content on your Sims?

no exchange content.

4. How many Sims did you send to school, What majors did they pick, How many credits, and Did they have any Scholarships?

2 sims, business and phys ed, 2 terms, 24 credit load, no scholar ships.

ive also tried with another game 2 sims, comm. and phys ed, 1 term, 12 credit load, no scholarships..


ive cleared my cache, deleted all my mods, restarted the game, made a brand new one, disabled then re enabled story progression...

anything else i can try? im gonna try erasing some more cc.. :/
