No class schedule
So my sim arrived fine at university, or so I thought. They're listed as as the major they're supposed to be but they have no class schedule.
Anyone encounter this or know a fix?

I'm having the same problem here. No mods, Sunset Valley, tried on my original save and a fresh one.
And while it is highly annoying not to be able to send Sims to classes, I did discover that using the 'ResetSim' cheat on your college student makes the performance bar appear, so you can technically make them skill up/study until they get their degree without them attending a single class.
Which isn't fun for me, but at least it's a temporary/kind of fix until the actual problem gets fixed.
We're currently investigating this, can you get me a little more information on what was going on with your game by answering some questions for me?
1. Was this a new save, or a save you have been playing for awhile?
2. What EP's or SP's where you using?
3. Did you have any exchange content on your Sims?
4. How many Sims did you send to school, What majors did they pick, How many credits, and Did they have any Scholarships?
Any other info you might have that could be helpful is appreciated!
Thanks!!!

There is no performance bar whatsoever and there's no schedule.

Add me to the list of "people whose game isn't working no matter what".
Tried the following:
- All mods installed (Nraas essentials to fix things like too many babies in houses/routing/lots and lots of cars; no Traveller), all store content installed
- BRAND NEW INSTALL (progress bar, no schedule)
- Mods removed, store content still in (see above)
- Everything removed, oooold file (see above)
- Everything removed, new file (see above)
As of right now, the best I can get is that progress bar on the side. What really bugs me, though, is that I have to do a bunch of extracurriculars constantly to make up for missing classes/exams. Luckily, I can do things involving the "social groups". Essentially everything is going well except for this missing classes issue.
I'm hoping this doesn't have anything to do with store content, considering how I have so much of it.

Did you rename your documents folder or move stuff out of the folder ?

So, how many people are using the store fixes?
These are the mods that fix ea store content bugs. I've narrowed it down to those mods. Take em' out, bug disappears. Put them back in, bug reappears. If someone else has them, could you remove them to test this?
If you don't have them, follow crinrict's advice. It's pretty sound.
Don't bother with you mods folder until you've renamed the entire sims 3 folder in my documents (this is reversible, not permanent). If you do this right, you won't see any save games, your game settings will reset, and the tutorial lessons will start up again.
If this is what you see, start a new game, send your sims to university, and I'm pretty sure your schedule will be there.
If it is, save and quit. Now slowly add mods until the bug reappears (very, very tedious if you have a lot. you'll basically have to restart the game over and over again). Once the bug shows up, you have your culprit.
For me, it was the store fixes, and I am absolutely certain that it was these mods, at least for me.
