No Fellow Firefighters - Sims 3

Question

When my sim goes to work at the fire station, there are no other firefighters there. One of the ways to get promoted is to befriend coworkers but his coworkers never show up to work! When my sim isn't at the station, it sits empty. I hadn't run a firefighter sim in awhile, but I know I didn't have this issue the last time I did. I've tried running the game without custom content, etc, to no avail, and I've seen&nbsp;several other posts about this on the regular Sims 3 forums. Is there a fix for this issue?

Add more Sims to the town and put them in the Firefighter careers then they will go to work and you can befriend them. Hope this helps 🙂

There are at least 2 others who are supposed to be showing up - they just don't. And any time I try to call them, they say "I'm about to head out, try calling back in 15 hours".

What world are you playing in? Does it happen only in this world or in other worlds as well? Have you tried using another household in the same world to see if it you have the same issue?

It happens in all of the worlds, and I've tried other households, etc. The game lists other people as being firefighters - they simply never show up.
