@jammydrop10 I take it sound works on the rest of your computer? It's easy to mute the sound without noticing, so please check. Please also make sure the game itself isn't somehow muted: put it in windowed mode and then check the sound settings in the lower right corner of your screen.
If that doesn't work, please test with at least two different types of sound output, for example headphones plugged into a jack, speakers plugged into a different port, or the built-in speakers on your laptop or monitor.
If none of this makes a difference, go into Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and remove options.ini. You'll need to redo your in-game settings, but hopefully resetting the sound options will help.

hey, thank you so much for your help i’ll check it tomorrow and i’ll try and do these all and see if it helps when i play tomorrow i’ll let you know when i’ve done it thanks for taking out your time to try and help 🙂
