Nothing happens when I try to install the sims 3 content on launcher

Hey everyone, 

I bought some items from the the sims 3 store, and they appear on the Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads - but when I try to install the on the the sims 3 launcher nothing happens, it doesn't t show any error messages or anything! It just seems like I didn't click on anything. 

I'm using a 2020 MacBook Pro btw...

    @catarinalobo  Do you see a second green plumbob in your Dock?  If so, that's the launcher's installer, but it's hidden behind the launcher.  Click the other plumbob to bring it to the front.

    If that doesn't help, close the launcher and reopen it.  Sometimes it takes more than one try for the install process to work.
