Unlike the rude person before me, I will answer your question.
Unfortunately, no. There is no current way to play The Sims 3 in multiplayer. There is a possibility that this may happen in the future, but at the current time you cannot. You can have friends on your thesims3.com account and possibly send them gifts in game, but you cannot play with them.
