I am having the exact same issue. Redeemed at Origin, and it's nowhere to be found. Anyone get this resolved?
you redeem the code on your the sims 3 account then download the item from your the sims 3 purchase history
for 16 digit codes

- Go to http://www.thesims3.com and login to your account.
- Click on the The Store tab in the menu bar at the top of the page.
- Then click the My Store Account tab.
- Click on the Green "+" icon sign across from Redeem a Code to expand that section, if it's not expanded already.
- Enter your 16 digit code for your bonus content.
- Accept the Digital Services Agreement and the Privacy Policy.
- Click the green Redeem button.
if you get an invalid code or code already used message then you need to contact CS

If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.
