Hello Im wondering if someone can please help me.
Ive been playing sims 3 for a very long time via CD (The old way 🙂 ) on my PC. I recently purchased two new (old) expansion packs - Barnacle Bay & the Beach one, which are appearing in my ea app, but not when I load the Sims in the CD version.
Is there a way to merge the two? As the majority are installed via CD except for the two registetred.

For "the beach one," do you mean Island Paradise or something else? If you're talking about Sunlit Tides, that's also a Store world, so the above link applies as well.
For IP or any other proper expansion or stuff pack, you'd need to let the EA App update your game to patch 1.69, then install the new pack. (The App should "see" the install already and give you the option to update.) But this would only work if your base game and other EPs and SPs are also registered in the App, which would likely block any content it didn't think you owned. Origin was hit or miss in working with mixed installs; the App seems to be mostly miss.
