Pc Had Origin Installed, and Has new Ea Launcher - TS3 Won't Launch

So I've been dealing with this issue the past few days.

On my laptop that never had origin installed, I was able install the game, install worlds and SOME store content, but that's separate.

NOW on my main pc I had origin launcher before, then was instructed to run the EA launcher. No problem right? WELL the sims 2 runs fine with the ea launcher, the sims 4 runs fine. But when I open the TS3, it opens the green plumbob launcher we know and love. I have deleted and removed origin from my computer and uninstalled TS3 (it was previously stored in the Origin folder) so that now it shows up in the EA folder (assuming that's with the EA launcher). Now, I have only installed the base game, no CC, no mods or any store content. When the game launches after I click play, the game does not LAUNCH. It just sits there and lets me click play again. If I click play again on the TS3 launcher it closes, and then takes me back to the EA launcher, where the GREYED OUT play BUTTON is now clickable again. Please help!

I have already reinstalled Direct X despite my dxdiag saying I didn't.

*Note, I own every single expansion pack the sims has ever made the past 22 years..and the "online chat tech" wanted every single transaction ID to prove that I owned the games in order to continue to assist me*

*Update: I installed the Install the intel alder lake patch and the game was able to open, however, after I closed it and tried to open it again, the game launches, but won't open the window? So if I tab into the game, it plays game music for about 3 seconds, then minimizes again*

I don't have any antivirus running, besides windows defender, which is default with the PC. I can disable that and try to run it again, but I didn't get that the first time.

If I repair the files and the Alder Lakes patch doesn't work a third time, would I have to repair a 3rd time, and just try to run the game in task manager? I know currently, if I try to run the game via task manager, it doesn't launch correctly and gives me that .dll error, which I didn't get clarity on, should I reinstall DirectX 9 again?

**Update, the task manager version works, so I might stick with this, however it's not the optimal way to get it to work. Can closing the program (like the 1st time I was able to launch it with the Alder Patch takes forever to close? Is this normal do you think? Also THANK YOU for helping me out with this ♥**

@GreenPiratez  The problem is, I don't know why the Alder Lake patch isn't working for you.  Repairing the game reverts the change, so there's not much to be lost by trying to run it again at any point.  It's possible Windows Defender itself is acting up, although that would be unusual—Defender hasn't objected to the patch in the past.

I'm not sure what you're asking at the end of the post.  You can undo the affinity setting in the Task Manager after the game starts to load, or at the Main Menu at the latest, so it doesn't affect in-game performance.  The Alder Lake patch only needs to be run once, after which point, if the patch worked rather than causing more problems, you wouldn't need to do anything when launching the game.  Sims 3 does take a while to close sometimes, due to it attempting to dump files into FeaturedItems inside the user folder, and the only fix for that is blocking the game within your firewall or playing while your computer is offline.
